First mayoral debate live Tuesday night

The Times-Picayune:

The first New Orleans mayoral debate will be aired live from Loyola University on Tuesday night at 7 p.m., hosted by ABC26 TV and simulcast on NOLA.com. Video of the complete debate will also be available after midnight on NOLA.com.

Viewers are invited to submit questions before the debate for consideration.

Thanks for pointing that out. What little substance there was was worth noting. I especially liked the "debate" portion, where people actually responded to each others' allegations. Too bad we didn't get than in the presidential debates.

I'm loving the news briefs today. What could be more important than what the mayoral candidates have to say, and yet all we get is a few lines about Kimberly Williamson-Butler being in jail. Who cares! What did the candidates say about the right to return, full compensation, Cat 5 levees, green space vs. people space? Aren't those issues more important than covering a freak?
