Valley Forge, Yorktown...Baghdad?

Looks like monkey boy's been smokin' the herb again:

"On July 4, 1776, more than five years of the Revolutionary War still lay ahead," he said in an outdoor rally at West Virginia University, in Morgantown.

"From the Battle of New York to the winter at Valley Forge to the victory at Yorktown, our forefathers faced terrible losses and hardships," Mr. Bush added. "Yet they kept their resolve. They kept their faith in a future of liberty, and with their hard-won victory we guaranteed a home for the Declaration's proposition that all are created equal."

He said that "at this hour, our men and women in uniform are defending America against the threats of the 21st century," and declared once again that "Iraq is the latest battlefield in the war on terror."

What a load of horsesh*t. The greatest threat to the United States in the 21st century is George W. Bush and the monied political machinery that put him in the White House.

Hey dipsh*t - remember how you didn't find any WMD in Iraq? Remember how you decided to invade Iraq before you stole the presidency? Would you care to share with the American people how, through your treasonous doctoring of intelligence, you spilled the blood of Americans, and turned a country that posed NO THREAT to the United States, into a cesspool of blood on the verge of civil war? Have you considered in that feeble thimble of a brain you have what could happen if Shiites and Sunnis start fighting one another in Iraq - how that could feed into a much wider regional conflict?

What we need is a new revolution to roll back the the ignorance, fear, and hate-mongering that feed the petro-capitalist military machine. We need a new revolution to guarantee that "future of liberty," which George W. Bush is selling off to world's wealthiest bidders.

Lying to Congress and the American people about WAR is treasonous.

Of course, you DID say you were a little slow...

Bush, Jr., has the intellect of a monkey.

Monkey boy never "won" the 2000 election (it was handed to him by the Supreme Court), in fact he lost the popular vote, and (given highly irregular voter registration, voting machine administration, and vote counts in key precincts) it's questionable he won the 2004 election.

Revolutions, to those who haven't been brainwashed, aren't just available in the Marxist variety - but come in a variety of flavors.

I don't use the word treason lightly. I mean, explicitly, that monkey boy (President Bush if you insist) has lied to the American people to win support for the illegal invasion of Iraq, violated the Constitution, committed impeachable offenses, deliberately caused unnecessary death and injury to Americans, and I am quite sincere in my belief that he should be impeached.

And by the way, many more people who say "Fuck Bush" and "Bush Sucks" have a hell of a lot more to say than the idiots who blindly wave flags and stick yellow ribbon magnets on their SUV's, and they say it a hell of a lot better than you. But feel free to try again.

I know you well enough that you have an odd way of engendering civility in discourse if that is what you intend. If you don't, then don't complain when you are served your just reward.

No, the Florida count was never completed. Remember, that's what the Supreme Court decided - to stop the vote count. The Miami Herald completed a detailed statistical analysis of precincts that remained uncounted, demonstrating that the probability was high that, had those precincts been included in the final vote count, Gore would have won not just the popular vote, but the electoral votes as well.

Since you use terms like "looney left," you're no stranger to hyperbole yourself. Although you're very astute at picking up the standard Republican diatribes, when you do, you certainly don't present a convincing picture of yourself as an independent thinker, notwithstanding your claim to be an atheist and a guy who doesn't stick things on your car.
