Bush intentionally bombed Al Jazeera news

Well, alright, it's not exactly confirmed, but it is now within the realm of possibility that the evidence will come forth.

"One source, said to be in the government, was quoted as saying that the alleged threat was 'humorous, not serious.'"

"We are not interested in dignifying something so outlandish and inconceivable with a response," White House spokesman Scott McClellan told The Associated Press in an e-mail.

Well then, I'm sure the 2 British subjects who leaked the document will get a good laugh when they're charged. Instead, David Keogh and Leo O'Connor should be given medals.

What's next, The Guardian UK, The Nation, The Washington Post, your local town paper.

The Associated Press has the story.

Even the greenest New Orleans A.D.A. could get a lot of convictions with that standard.

I shudder at the thought of the President making a joke about the Times-Pic . . .
