My condolences, friend. I am somewhat surprised by Nagin's win--as an outsider looking in. But, at the same time, there was an element of the predictable about it--I don't know why, but people are often scared to change leaders in a time of crisis. I'll never understand that line of thinking. I am not familiar with the GNOR, but they sure do know how to win elections it appears. Good luck, keep the fight going, and, if nothing else, you will still have lots of fodder for your blog.
Tara, as always, thanks for your concern. You know, it won't really hurt me if Nagin doesn't get his act together. It'll hurt the people who voted for him. I may never understand.
