Nothing in Iraq is worth dying for

Well, then again, maybe the lives of 2,600 American soldiers actually are worth about $9 million.

That's what Philip Bloom made after paying kickbacks to another American in charge of $82 million of Coalition Provisional Authority funds donated by U.S. taxpayers for the rebuilding of Iraq. The "contracts" doled out to Bloom were paid in cash to hide the money from the IRS.

Here's an email exchange between Phil and one of the reserve officers who received a gift in exchange for contracts:

Hi Phil, Here is the info you requested on the SUV I’d like, a 2004 GMC Yukon Denali All- Wheel Drive. Let me know how I can help you with the local stuff.

The truck is Great!!! People I work with cannot stop commenting on how much they love it. It drives real smooth like a sedan. ...

Take care of yourself and make sure you stay safe. Nothing in Iraq is worth dying for.

Maybe the 19,270 wounded American soldiers should be allowed to decide what to do with Bloom and his criminal associates, Robert J. Stein and colluding Army Reserve officers.

Still, the question remains, is there anything in Iraq worth dying for?

Oh yeah, and if your having trouble remembering why President boneless chickenhawk sent Americans to die in Iraq, you're probably one of the 59 percent of Americans who agree that George W. Bush is the worst president ever.
