Fristbuster goes to Washington

The Princeton student filibuster outside the Frist Campus Center, named after Princeton alum Bill Frist, is taking its cause on the road to D.C.

Since April 26, students have been conducting a round-the-clock filibuster to protest Frist's "nuclear option" threat to bar Senate filibusters on judicial nominees. The student filibuster has been live now for over 340 hours.

Frist Campus Center was financed by a $25 million gift from Bill Frist.

The Washington Fristbuster gets started at the Capitol Reflecting Pool, 10 AM Wednesday, and ends Thursday night.

Meanwhile, other campuses around the country are starting their own filibuster Frist events.
