C-SPAN forces sites to drop Colbert video

C-SPAN isn't a government entity? That news to me!

It's a private, nonprofit company.

Complaining about copyright infringement, it turns out that C-Span forced other Web sites to pull their video of the April 29 Colbert speech given at the White House Correspondents Association dinner.

The video is still available on C-SPAN, and by special arrangement, on Google video.
